Today our marching band attended The National Arboretum to take part in The Firefighters Memorial Trust annual service of Remembrance. We teamed up with our friends from Devon & Somerset, West Midlands and West Yorkshire to make a combined massed band.
On Thursday we were proudly part of the 140th Lincolnshire Show. Despite the intense heat of the day, we powered on and made a great sound. Here we are leaving The Main Ring to Lincolnshire Poacher ๐ถ
A group from our band have just returned from a very special and enjoyable twinning trip to Neustadt an der Weinstraรe, Germany to spend time and make music with our friends at Musikverein 1953 Diedesfeld e.V.
Some of our band have just returned from a twinning trip to see our friends at MVD Band in Diedesfeld, Neustadt an der Weinstraรe, Germany. We had a great time and took part in their State Festival (Rheinland-Pfalz-Tag 2025) making music together.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Richard Joyce, our new Musical Director. Richard brings with him a wealth of experience and we are very much looking forward to an exciting 2025 and beyond under his direction.
Last night we held our first Remembrance Concert since 2019 to raise money for @PoppyLegion. The band is going to be very busy now for a couple of weeks with local Remembrance events and some of us are travelling over to Belgium to perform at The Menin Gate in Ypres on 11/11.

Many Freemasons, MCF staff, and others had the chance to celebrate, participate in auctions and raffles, and enjoy the wonderful talents of @LFRConcertBand, @RuleTheWorldAct and Hannah Priestley!
Some of our band members are on their way home after a fabulous weekend at The Fire Service College in Gloucestershire, this is an annual event where we meet up with the other Fire bands of the UK to make music together.
We are delighted to announce that after our very successful charity concert last week we will be presenting a cheque of ยฃ1000 to @alzheimerssoc Thank you to everyone who attended to make this happen and check our website to see what else we'll be doing in 2024.
On the 22nd December, while we were providing some festive music for the customers of Sainsbury's in Lincoln, we had a VIP guest! The Prime Minister joined us and sang a couple of Carols with the quickly made supermarket choir!
Yesterday we had our Christmas Concert at Windmill Farm. The band would like to thank everyone who has supported us this year, it's been a busy one but we've done some amazing things ๐ถ Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year.
