Every quarter, we do something unusual for a team moving this fast: we regroup.
A house in the middle of nowhere. Days of building, thinking, arguing, laughing.
We came back more aligned, more energised, and ready for whatever comes next.
The Frontier is Inside.
Our inner source is winning across the company.
You shouldn’t have to manage AI.
In Maio Workspace, Factories can run for hours, coordinate teams, and use Codex, Claude Code, Droid, OpenCode, OpenHands and more together.
You stay on the thinking and decisions 😎
Enquanto a indústria debate o hospital do futuro, nós estamos a construí-lo.
A história completa vem aí. 🏥
just wanted to have some fun today with @NousResearch Hermes new feature Bots.
I made the single thing that cheers me up, a Rick & Morty ... Rick Sanchez persona.
i'm cracking up literally, i'm just having fun doing stuff with AI
Hermes Bots are super fun and amazing and I want more!
The machine can become the bot now.
@levelsio has done that already a long while ago
We want a better security interface to turn this into reality, not just hand configure everything.

I've been using Qwen3.6-35B all day everyday for months. Having 400 million tokens on July.
If this, shared by @NVIDIAAI is true, and I can run this easy...
...we'll have high-end frontier, powerful agentic AI on every person's laptop before the end of 2027.
Quote me on this.
Companies look at Local AI as an escape from big bad 3rd party provider rather than an opportunity to build something genuinely useful and interesting.
LLMs and Agents are amazing when you're working with local AI.
When you build one, and I mean ... one agent within a system, like a living organism, it gets even more interesting. Consider this use-case I'm working on for Industry.
We have a factory floor that produces metrics: temperature, liquid flow, end-to-end cycle times and power usage.
All these machines have rule-books, technical manuals that specify the limits of each machine within a dimension.
Now we implement a living agent hooked into certain alerts/events/metrics and give this agent a heartbeat (a loop).
I don't care if it wastes inference, this agent LIVES within this system and in an inference machine that does not write a check at the end of the month.
This agent has access to all the technical books and some well defined rules, it has a well defined scope, one of which it isn't really able to get out of with a set of directives that it needs to follow.
In this initial phase the agent is READ-ONLY, producing only recommendations (messages) and suggestions for a notified human-in-the-loop that then can escalate for an action.
This is real AI at play, not trying to replace a real factory system but becoming part of it.
Last month, 3 of us pushed Qwen3.6-35B-A3B through a DGX Spark and a Mac Ultra M3 for a month of real, private, well-defined tasks. Commit messages, vision tasks, structured extraction, classifiers, prototypes. All of it. Zero cloud spend.
Ricardo Mendes, our Founding Member and Head of Infrastructure & Local AI, has been running local inference in production for months.
Not benchmarking it, using it. This is his honest account of what held up, what didn't, and why the gap between what you see on your timeline and what actually runs your workload is bigger than most people admit.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

Rent your AI and you get output.
Own it and you get capability.
The difference isn't the tool. It's what's left when the contract ends.
Rented AI walks out the door with the invoice.
Owned AI compounds inside your team: decisions, knowledge, processes, the moat.
