Back then in 2017 after I finished studying computer science, I was considering a PhD position with the topic "Epidemical forecast within a hospital system" but didn't take it because it was unclear, if the position will be financed. I wonder where I'd be today if I chose it ...

It allows more flexibility both for streamers and for twitch (and thus, for its viewers).

For example, if there is (legal) background music on a seperate track, twitch could implement a button for the viewer to toggle those tracks on/off.
