Tyler Fitzgerald had a VERY good night last night for AAA OKC. He was playing left field, to show his versatility, and made a really nice sliding catch early in the game. TFitz, as we know, has played quite a bit of shortstop and infield at the MLB level, so his versatility & experience are valuable as depth.

Tyler Fitzgerald is starting to find a rhythm with OKC.

The Dodgers traded for him recently for cash in return, and today he went 2-for-4 with a double, 2 runs scored, and a walk. After a tough start to the season, Fitzgerald is now hitting .250 with a .367 OBP and .500 SLG in May, and he’s already launched 2 HR with 9 RBI this month.

Since joining the Dodgers organization, the former Giants infielder has shown flashes of the power/speed combo that produced 21 MLB HR and 28 SB in his big league career. #Dodgers
