In honor of LGBT Detroit's 30th anniversary, the impactful Men of Color Motivational Group celebrated a reunion on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. This celebration was held at the historical St. Matthew St. Joseph Episcopal Church, which was the original safe space for Men Of Color.

Early this month LGBT Detroit’s - Broadcast Manager Chris Sutton had the honor of attending the Center Of Black Equity - 2023 Black Pride Leadership Summit, hosted in Nashville, Tennessee. It was an amazing experience, and we look forward to connecting with you all again soon.
It was a pleasure having MI State Representative Jason Hoskins visiting the LGBT Detroit campus. Hoskins has been pivotal in updating Michigan’s Elliott Larsen Act (protecting LGBT+ rights), as well as assisting in the ban of conversion therapy within the state of Michigan.
