1/ We welcome @wesstreeting’s announcement of a clinical trial into the efficacy and safety of puberty blockers for treating children with gender dysphoria. This serves as a vital step towards providing young trans people with good, timely, and evidence-led healthcare.
8/ and provide mental health support for those who desperately need it, as well as delivering a comprehensive, trans-inclusive ban on conversion practices.
Today, on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we remember the trans people around the world whose lives have been cut short by transphobic hate in the past year.
We must continue to work for a world in which all trans people are free to live, with dignity, safety, and equality.
