Testing week with early starts and extreme heat but the lads haven’t complained once and just got on with it.
Irrigated areas coping very well. Fairways starting to tinge off a bit. Bio stimulant sprayed on Greens.
Time for a well deserved beer.
Have a good weekend all. 👍🍺
Good timings of Wetting Agents and Feeds have kicked the Course into life. Great effort again by the lads as we head towards Presidents’ Day on Sunday. Great to see everyone else’s courses coming to life after a tough start to the year. Patience is key. Have a good weekend. 👍🍺
Full course cut today in preparation of Sundays presidents day.
The course has greened up majorly over the last couple of weeks with all the rain we’ve had. ☀️
With rain forecast we went ahead and got our fairway fertiliser out this morning, hopefully give them a nice boost with the sunshine and showers expected.
After 8mm of rain over the bank holiday weekend, first bit of rain since the middle of March, we have scarified, top dressed and starting spiking this morning.
Due to lack of moisture our yearly scarify
+feed of the fairways is on hold so we decided to give them a brush and double cut to achieve a cleaner cut. Worked well. We are starting to dry out, original 13th green and bunkers are starting to show up. Irrigated areas doing ok. 👍
Another great effort from the team this week a lot of the jobs that no one really notices done this week. Course looks a lot tidier for it. Still no rain since 20th March and none forecast but we’re doing ok at the moment. Renovated areas recovering slowly but well. Enjoy. 😉 👍
The end of an extremely busy week, approaches had the same treatment as tees last week. Course tidied after high winds. Course set up for the weekend. All areas cut. Tees had a granular feed now the irrigation system is up and running. Greens next week. Have a good one 👍👊
Tees renovation last week, aprons this week, scarify, core, sarel roll, over seed and a top dress of sand which is brushing in nicely with today’s sunshine ☀️.
Warm and sunny this week so we went ahead with Tee renovations. Double scarify, followed by hollow-coring. With over seeding and top dressing to come later this week. As well as managing to get a spray on the greens and the course cut, busy week ahead
