Day 14 of the worst case of poison ivy from neck to toes. I learned three valuable lessons amid the suffering and bacterial infection I caught on my legs.
1. Never pull out bushes, cut trees, or work around shrubbery in shorts and a tank top.
2. Benadryl, calamine, baking soda, and an ice-cold bowl of ice water next to the bed with a washcloth for the middle of the night to put on soothing compresses are your best friends, along with a lot of prayer.
3 Well, with everything that’s been going on according to the Lord’s will—hit after hit, all the suffering, all the pain, and after these, boils all over my body—I have a pretty good idea of how Job felt, while missing my family and being judged, thinking that all these things are happening because I’ve sinned against God, when that couldn’t be further from the truth.
No matter what, I’ve stayed grateful and faithful through it all.
Yes, I’ve gotten angry. Yes, I’ve cried. Yes, I have complained at times, but no matter what, it all goes back to Jesus and to faith and to His purpose for it all. I share this as encouragement for others who suffer.
Please know this: I only share less than a quarter of what is actually happening on social media.
To God be the glory forever and ever.
Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows; it's often ugly and brutal, but through Christ, His grace makes it tolerable.
As Romans 5:3-4 says, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
Much love and perseverance,

The gospel isn't just something God did for us; it's the pattern He calls us to live out. Grace given freely, because grace was given freely to us.
Are you living it out today?
Words for the wise. Do these words bring you hope?
“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked,or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.
But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly.
For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.”
Psalm 1: 1-6 (NLT).

“BLESSINGS on ALL who reverence and trust the Lord, on all who OBEY him. May the Lord continually bless you with heaven’s blessings as well as with human joys. May you live to enjoy your grandchildren! And may God bless Israel.” 🙏Psalms 128
A Christian homebuilder in Texas is gaining attention after announcing that Bible verses will be permanently engraved into every home it builds.
Calvary Homes TX, based in Rio Grande Valley, has begun stamping Scripture references into the concrete of its new homes, including verses such as John 3:16.
The company says the decision is part of its mission to honor God through its work and remind homeowners of the foundation of faith behind each house.
“We want to glorify Jesus through every house we build,” the company explained.
While homes are available to buyers of all backgrounds and beliefs, the builder says its Christian values will remain at the center of its business.
The announcement has sparked widespread discussion online. Many Christians praised the company for boldly sharing its faith in a culture that often pressures believers to stay silent, while others questioned whether faith and business should be mixed in this way.
For supporters, the message is simple: every home needs a strong foundation, and the strongest foundation is God's Word.
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15
The Bible is the only book I've read that reads me back.
I open it looking for answers.
Then I realize God is exposing attitudes, habits, and beliefs in my own heart that need to change.
Have you ever had a Bible verse feel like it was written specifically for you?
Letting go isn’t one and done; it’s many quiet decisions to release what’s behind you. When will you lay down the past and carry its lesson forward, becoming an example for others?
Through Christ; we’re doing it, together.
“See, I am doing a new thing’ —Isaiah 43:19.
