On air at Brockville's MyFM 104.9 this morning with local radio legend Bruce Wylie for his annual Christmas Eve Show.
Enjoyed reading the news alongside guest sports anchor Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar and weatherman Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley Mayor Brant Burrow. Also great to see Brockville Mayor Matt Wren, Augusta Township Mayor Jeff Shaver, and many other special guests.
It was final edition of this wonderful tradition as Bruce is retiring in April in his 55th year with the station. Thanks for all you’ve done in the community, Bruce!
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and safe travels to those on the road.

It was a busy summer with more than 257 meetings, events, local business tours, and announcing millions of dollars in investments for Leeds & Grenville.
It was great to be part of so many activities. Kudos to the volunteers whose hard work helped make them happen.
Let's take a look back!
Our government is investing nearly $2 billion to support staffing across the long-term care sector, so seniors have access to the care they need and deserve.
With these historic investments, long-term care residents are now receiving, on average, more than an hour of ADDITIONAL daily direct care from nurses and PSWs — a 36 per cent increase compared to 2021. That's equivalent to 15 days of additional care per resident, per year.

Always enjoy meeting the entrepreneurs taking advantage of this program funded by our government. It’s delivered by the great team at Leeds Grenville Small Business with support of the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville. Thank you to the participants for taking the leap and investing in our community by launching your business here.
Wishing you all the best!
Fantastic day in the Town of Gananoque with the official launch of the YMCA of Eastern Ontario Child Care Centre.
This incredible facility provides a safe and welcoming environment for 39 children, with plans for future expansion to accommodate over 80.
The centre will provide support for families in Gananoque and the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands.
Thank you to the town, the YMCA, and the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville for their collaborative efforts in developing these essential child care spaces that I was proud to deliver on behalf of our government.
On Brockville's Move with Bruce Wylie this morning for the 104.9 myFM and 103.7 Giant FM annual Food Bank Fill Up.
They’re broadcasting from the Real Canadian Superstore until 5 p.m. today. If you can, please stop by to make a donation and help our local food bank support families in need.
With Transportation Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria at the Gananoque Commercial Vehicle Inspection Facility. MTO enforcement officers here are the first in Ontario to use state-of-the-art mobile x-ray scanners to help keep our highways safe.

It was a pleasure joining MPP Steve Clark and members of the Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce last week to discuss how our government is cutting red tape and saving people and businesses $1.2 billion and 1.8 million hours.

Thank you to the volunteers out this morning installing the Veterans Memorial Banners in downtown Brockville.
An outstanding project by the Brockville Legion Branch 96 to honour those who have served and continue to serve. The banners are a visible reminder, leading up to Remembrance Day, of the sacrifices made for our freedom.
We will remember them.
Great coverage in today’s Recorder and Times of yesterday’s Small Business Month presentation by our government’s Minister of Red Tape Reduction Andrea Khanjin.
Thanks again to the Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce for organizing, the Brockville Country Club for the great breakfast, and to the many who attended.
Honoured to attend tonight’s Change of Command Ceremony for 113 The Brockville Rifles Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps at the Brockville Armouries.
Congratulations to incoming Capt. Patricia Bonacci and thank you to Capt. Peter Ruttan for your leadership.
We are so proud the have The Rifles in our community, bravely defending Canada, Canadians, and the values for which we stand.

Had a great morning with Minister of Red Tape Reduction Andrea Khanjin during a Brockville & District Chamber of Commerce breakfast presentation at the Brockville Country Club.
An excellent speech from Minister Khanjin to kick off #SmallBusinessMonth with a focus on how our government is cutting red tape so entrepreneurs can spend more time looking after their customers, growing their businesses, and hiring new employees!
Appreciated the fantastic ideas the Minister and I heard from the audience to make government even more efficient.
