While I agree it should generally be prohibited, I found no single national percentage for U.S. cities to support the claim. Sidewalk riding laws are set locally or state-by-state and that is a large data call to make claim. A sample study of 537 California cities and counties found that 19% completely prohibited all bicycle riding on sidewalks, while the others had some partial restrictions, business-district bans, or poorly specific rules. Another example is that 1 state does not ban it but makes provisions for localities to ban, a county in that state does not ban it but allows local cities/towns to ban. And of 4 of the cities/towns I cycle through, only 1 bans it for any one over 15 unless they are riding with a person under 15...nuts.

Incorrect- Neither the Old nor the New Testament set 3 as the age for marriage. Christian historically aligned marriage with age of consent, puberty, and legal adulthood defined by local laws. Modern Christians and Jews universally reject child marriage, adhering to legal age of consent.

It is not a motor-vehicle DUI and no jail time or affect adult driver's licenses.
