1. TWITTER FILES PART 8
*How Twitter Quietly Aided the Pentagon’s Covert Online PsyOp Campaign*
Despite promises to shut down covert state-run propaganda networks, Twitter docs show that the social media giant directly assisted the U.S. military’s influence operations.
Journalist Lee Fang (@lhfang) covered the progressive campaigns for years. I am honored to have a blurb from him for my upcoming insider memoir about working in the progressive movement
The anti-Thomas Massie SuperPAC is funded by IGAS USA, an LLC owned in part by Zhejiang Juhua Chemical Corporation, a Chinese state-owned firm. Probably a coincidence that they are also aggressively lobbying the gov for EPA and tariff waivers.
None of the billionaire tax coverage about Sergey Brin in Bloomberg or the NYTimes reports the most important structural detail of why he opposes it so much more than Jensen. It taxes voting shares as ownership.
It taxes Page and Brin as if they own 50+% or >$2 trillion of Google rather than 3% each. Jensen does not have super voting shares so he is just taxed like his actual ownership of Nvidia.
Imagine if you were taxed like you earned 10 times as much as you actually did last year. @bizcarson@teddyschleifer
For @NYTStyles, I profiled Shalom Landau, an ultra-Orthodox Brooklyn rabbi who has become a star on social media.
Has there ever been a rabbi with this kind of reach among non-Jews?
"I don't know," he said. "We got to look it up!"

The stats here are kind of remarkable. BART's new fare gates have led to a 1,000-hour decline in clean up time; 41% drop in crime; and $10 million increase in projected revenue. https://t.co/bQMIcgUPal
When simulation becomes the norm, it weakens the human capacity for discernment. As a result, our social bonds close in upon themselves, forming self-referential circuits that no longer expose us to reality. We thus come to live within bubbles, impermeable to one another. Feeling threatened by anyone who is different, we grow unaccustomed to encounter and dialogue. In this way, polarization, conflict, fear and violence spread. What is at stake is not merely the risk of error, but a transformation in our very relationship with truth.
On April 11, 1960, John F Kennedy’s work in the democratic primary election in WV began.
That race awakened the country to a moral crisis that set the war on poverty reforms of the ‘60s in motion.
This thread traces the steps of his campaign from April 21-May 10 of that year.
Such a bummer knowing left wing transit advocacy groups are going to spend the next few decades campaigning against autonomously driven buses (which could drastically increase service hours) because they prioritize the demands of transit unions, not the riding public.
Researchers at the University of Colorado Boulder tested brain blood vessel cells against the amount of erythritol found in one sweetened drink.
Within 3 hours, the cells showed measurable, significant damage, after just one drink.
But what even is erythritol?
More on the autism fraud scheme, this time in Colorado, with an insane statistic:
- An audit found at least $77.8 million in improper payments for autism services, with errors identified in every single sampled case—effectively a 100 percent error rate.

A decade ago, Adolph Reed and Walter Benn Michaels told the left it had to choose between class politics and identity politics.
It did, and we're living with the consequences, argues @ryan_zickgraf:

CNBC: "President Trump has threatened to destroy a civilization. How does an investor process that? Is it a bigger upside risk or downside risk?"
What stage of corporate media is this?

Lefties reflexively call everyone racist but this is off base. Maher is an ethnic supremacist: he'll equally mock whites, blacks, Christians & Islam but makes an exception to every principle he claims to hold to support Israel & Jewish identity politics https://t.co/3ryKVz7Bbk
@razibkhan Right just like Nikole Hannah-Jones was raised by white parents and the Free Press's "I'm an October 8th Jew" reporter does anxious tweet threads about not being seen by rabbis as fully Jewish. The insecurity transforms into identity partisanship.
