@GatwickDirector@airindia Very sorry to hear about the loss of one of your inbounds. Our thoughts are with family and friends of loved ones lost in the air and on the ground. Call us on the landline if you want to chat. #AI171#Dreamliner#LHR#RIP
I'm up at Luton today
visiting the tower.
So if anyone sees a heavily tattooed woman waving at aircraft, it's me 🥰🚁✈️😆
Please wave back! I'm a radar controller. Humour me. I don’t get out much!
Smile and wave. That's all I ask. oh and snacks, just saying 🍰
@lhrtower wakey wakey..turn the lights on! Here they come! Speedbird 3577, better late than never and beat the #BUB from Gatwick 👌 Speedbird 715 kilo unlucky the 350 just pipped you! ILS 09 left. #lhr#lhrpower
So let’s give Twitter one last go shall we! First thing I’ve done is block Elon and Donald! Now that’s done hopefully I won’t have to see any more of their rubbish! Shame, because I enjoyed Elon’s @SpaceX stuff but he’s become a Donald cheerleader 🙈 Now, back to some flying stuff! These were taken on a recent flight to Cape Town. Probably my last one for a while as the A350 is coming off the route for the winter schedule 😢
20 years ago today, we said out final goodbyes to The Rocket.. We miss you every day beautiful lady. 💔💔

20 years ago today, she left JFK for her last commercial flight to Heathrow... Here's how it happened on the cold October morning... #concorde#jfk#lhr https://t.co/gVMi1d7zFa
20 years ago today , Speedbird 1 left Heathrow for the very last time. @LHRDelivery@LHRGround and @LHRTower doing their bit to send the beautiful rocket on her way to JFK... @London_Control keeping an eye too 'We know where you live!!' 🤣🤣🤣 #concorde https://t.co/1nbNfs3FR1
@Schafernaker It's a lost cause @Schafernaker I checked the METAR for 2 airports in Sardinia and sure enough..47 Degrees on 24/7. They wouldn't know a Stevenson Screen if it hit them on the head. OK maybe they would as I expect they are quite heavy 🤣🤣. #LHR
This absolutely not true. The temperature being reported is AIR temperature above ground (over 1 metre+), not the GROUND temperature. Ground temperature will have been even higher in many of those locations, well in excess of 50°.
