Lithonia High School proudly celebrated the Grand Opening of our Student and Family Engagement (S.A.F.E.) Center, and what a beautiful celebration of community, culture, connection, and belonging it was! 🐾
From our Student Ambassadors welcoming guests to Lithonia in their native languages 🌎, to magnificent performances by our Mighty Marching Bulldog Band, to the incredible support of our families, district leaders, partners, staff, students, and community, this day was truly special.
The S.A.F.E. Center is officially OPEN, and we are incredibly excited about what’s ahead as we continue creating spaces where our students and families feel supported, connected, and that they belong. 🖤💛

🎶 Enjoyed stopping by Mr. Lloyd’s Beginning Band class! Students were building foundational musicianship through proper finger placement, note accuracy, and smooth transitions between notes. Our SGA candidates showed up with creativity, enthusiasm, and plenty of Bulldog spirit as they beautifully displayed their campaigns throughout the school! We LOVE seeing our students excited about leadership, using their voices, and getting involved in their school community.

Our 9th Grade Bulldogs earned the victory over Woodland Thursday night! 💪🏾🐾 But one of my favorite moments came after the final whistle, watching our coaches pour into our young men, encouraging them to keep growing, working, and striving for greatness.
