Your team isn’t performing well?
Your team is performing great?
Regardless:
Check everyone’s stance.
Tune up everyone’s effort and enthusiasm
Don’t celebrate
Don’t panic
Simply check the details.
You’re not as good as u think…
And you’re not as bad as u think

[Jim Shapiro @jimshapiro]

Typical high school football team runs what, maybe 60-80 offensive plays. About 15-20 plays per quarter, 2-3 possessions. Does that sound about right?

Then tell me why you have 40+ different passing plays, 10+ run schemes, and 17 trick plays.

Repetition and mastery matters.

If a coach has to beg you to lift weights, you’re probably going to beg him for playing time.
