Alear turned back, hearing his summoner’s voice.
“Oh, hello, Locke! To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit today?”
@SummoningBard “It’s been strange to adjust to, but it’s been alright. I’m learning more about where my own strength is without the help of an emblem.”
He nodded along.
“I’ll do whatever I can to help out!”
He put his hand out for Locke to shake.
“I would be honored to join your cause, in order to protect this world and Elyos alike. How is it possible for them to invade other worlds, though?”
He was a bit confused, but he’d figure that out later.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Locke. How can I help?”
Suddenly, from the red beam of light projecting from the orb in the lute, Alear materialized before Locke.
“I'm the Divine Dragon Alear! I will serve you as best I... Hold on. How did you summon me without a ring?”
On your knees to pray, right???

Right. He’d somehow forgotten about everything else going on around them for a moment.
“It won’t be easy, but we’ll get the rings. We won’t let Sombron win.”
“I don’t know.” He looked over the edge of the Somniel, watching the clouds pass, “but with half the rings still missing, and Sombron loose across the sea…. I know it won’t be a walk in the park.”
And then suddenly—
“Lend us your song, Emblem of Thorns!”
She’s brushing her hair within the Bracelet of the Mystical Songstress, ready to make an appearance when needed.
If… ever she is… needed….
“What’s to come?”
He sank down next to him.
“Getting to know you has been quite the party.” He rested Alear.
“I think… the way I feel about you will make what’s to come a lot easier.”
When he finally, painstakingly broke the kiss, he looked into Pandreo’s eyes for a moment, breathless.
He couldn’t believe this was all real. It felt like a dream.
He sat down against the tree, tugging Pandreo’s hand to invite him down with him.
He nuzzled against him for a slower, more romantic kiss. He breathed in his diety’s scent; he had a clean musk, like fresh laundry.
“You even smell like a good nap.”
It was nice… They were stealing time before they told the others.. but it didn’t mean they had to be frantic.
He laughed, leaning back against a tree, pulling Pandreo in close to him for another kiss.
He went along with Alear, waiting until they had the trees as cover before he kissed him again.
“Poetic��” he laughed as he realized where they were, “my diety. My forbidden fruit.”
“I like that idea.”
He looked around for a moment, before nodding to himself and tugging Pandreo’s hand, trying to get him to come along as he made his way over to the orchard. Nobody else was around.
He met the kiss, gentle, relishing their little secret.
“We can tell people… maybe tomorrow, though? It’s nice having something to ourselves.”
Alear wasn’t really sure what to say anymore, looking right back into Pandreo’s eyes.
So instead of words, he leaned up to kiss him, soft and sweet.
He relaxed the hug enough to look into Alear’s eyes, as clearly as they could through two layers of bangs.
“I love you too, Div- ah! I’ll get better. I love you too, Alear. I’m still a little nervous for how things will change, but… well, you’ve always given me hope.”
[He returned the hug, arms drawing the priest even closer to him.]
I love you, Pandreo.
Well if they do, it’ll have to go through your high priest~
[He dropped his hands so he could draw his arms around Alear in a hug]
