Yesterday LDI was delighted to host @Sathnam author of Empireland & Empireworld who was interviewed by historian @HelenhCarr. They provided an informative discussion on the far-reaching impacts of British Empire. Funds were raised for @Rethink_.

Last night we saw CHANCE @GenesisCinema as part of @LONMigFilmFest. The film tells the story of four Sudanese men who hide in a lorry in the hope of getting to the UK. As they sit in the back of the lorry, they reflect on a system that excludes them from a dignified life.

I'm hearing about more proposals from the White House involving the expanded use of INA 212(f) aimed at nonimmigrant workers outside the U.S. Any big changes to those in the U.S. in H-1B, H-4 or F-1 status will still be subject to rulemaking including notice and comment.
