With the increase of newcomers to Canada, the need for the District’s Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program is growing. Staff and alumni from LINC shared with #BurnabySchools Trustees the incredible ways in which the program has affected graduates' lives.

At the #BurnabySchools Board Meeting, youth who are part of Unified Basketball @BbyMountainSec shared the powerful impact within the school of the program. The team sport brings together students with disabilities and diverse abilities, along with neurotypical youth and athletes.
