@BubbaCunt@Scivf4 A 4-dimensional object could very well exist, but the problem is we would never be able to distinguish it from a 3-dimensional object. We would only be able to experience and perceived the 3-dimensions of that 4-dimensional object (it’s shadow at best).
@OrevaZSN -The dull, lifeless world devoid of color and charm. EVERYTHING is some shade of grey or brown
-This film based on a fantasy epic acts like it’s ashamed of being based on a fantasy epic. What is the point of adapting it if you’re going to sterilize what made it so memorable?
@OrevaZSN Fine, we’ll play it by your rules.
-Matt Daemen’s portrayal of Odysseus is the most uninteresting, flat, boring main character I’ve ever seen.
-This film is more interested in TELLING you how someone feels rather than SHOWING you.
-The OBNOXIOUS quick cuts and impatient pacing
@Genghistwelve@ChrisChapman81 You can make this work in English. It just takes a lot more imagination than people want to put in the effort.
“Odyss”, we can still trim to “Ody” (pronounce it Oo-Dee).
“I am Nōba of the house of Ody. But my men address me as Nōba Dy”.
@chakravartiiin “Hey Batman, I have a riddle for you! Why did a director who clearly hates fantasy make a film based on a poem that’s 90% coated in monsters, magic and gods?”
“I don’t know. What’s the answer?”
“Good question! Even I don’t know!”
@sainimatic@_soswii “Fatigue and apathy” sums it up nicely.
I would argue it’s more apathy and looking at the bottom line then anything else. They’re banking on the fact that people will watch ANYTHING they put out. And their open contempt for animation, color, emotion and vibrancy is staggering.
Once took a world mythology class in highschool and the main thing I remember is one day where the teacher played this song and then we read the stories in every verse of the song. Yeah he did that shit.
@AdriWindGB We’ll agree to disagree.
I’m all for bringing back back multiple playable characters, the large open space (preferably a bit more polished), and the ability to control Sonic like you’re controlling a character instead of a kart.
@ivanchu33@ConCERNED312@cresent2792555@TheMarverce He nearly crushed a bird’s head while interrogating it how to make fire. His torture was so bad its children inherited its mangled head.
He lassoed the Sun with his brothers and literally beat it within an inch of its life until it agreed to slow down and make the days longer.
@BR96bro When it’s all they do, maybe they need to take a step back and look at the things they appreciate.
For example: I can’t stand Star Wars anymore, but I still appreciate the original trilogy and Rogue One.
And who knows, maybe someday it’ll get better?
