@rambellastudios It's also time consuming but if you Google "texas animation investors" a number of search engines will pop up that give profiles for different people interested in animation investing. Unfortunately, finding the right investor takes time 😅

@rambellastudios I suggest checking out your local investment pool. It will require a lot of emails but entertainment lawyers in your area may know a few (that's usually their client). Seed investors may be your best bet though. There are also grants for this which could get you what you need.

Pro tip of the week: have it in writing.

There are so many horror stories about clients not paying, which I've experienced, too. Put the agreement in writing and both of you sign the contract. I'm not a lawyer so I can't give legal advice, but if you want some I know someone 😉
