Year 4 have used data loggers today with Mr Ashton. They were asked to collect, present and analyse data about the most suitable working conditions around the school. They much prefer the classroom to the quad in November!
6B took part in a computing workshop where they learnt more about coding and algorithms using microbits.
They used the skills they learnt to see if they could create a step counter. #engagedU@EngageduOnline
A fantastic first day back after half term yesterday in Year 6. We had the pleasure of @LJAEngagedu all day for a fantastic workshop using Scratch. The children were so engaged when designing and creating their own game - thank you!
Always inspiring to receive messages from schools you have worked with. Following a session with @BilstonCEPri coding a #crumblecontroller they have gone on to create their fairground ride, programming their motors and sparkles. Well Done Y5 @RedfernElec#EdTech#primarycomputing
Our staff have been focussing on enhancing the curriculum through the use of ICT this morning with a specific focus on maths across KS1 and KS2.

Fantastic to have @squirrellearn @LJASquirrel back at St. Stephen's! Another brilliant workshop providing valuable CPD for our Y2 staff and some great work completed by our young animators!
Today the rest of Year 6 completed their robotics day with @squirrellearn using @LEGO_Education! Children had a fab day and loved completing the coding challenges!
