Still coming to terms with the fact I played Rum Tum Tugger in the dream cast of my swing project yesterday. Feels unreal. I am so proud of myself for this whole project and I couldn’t have done it without the best group of people around me. My heart is so full rn!
The fact that we’re just about to start Swing project and I’ve been able to, as a gender fluid person, choose to cover tracks that make me feel comfortable and confident as a performer speaks volume about PPA🥺.
I’ve had a really mentally challenging week this week, but I sang in ATS today and the feeling after reminded me why I do this🥺🫶🏻
I don’t care how many times I say it, it’s out in the universe. I will be in bat out of hell one day, I just will.
As we open another load of auditions I thought I’d post some stats on the last show we cast that followed this format (first round via self tape, recalls in person).
