Everyone is playing in muscle memory. Same positioning, same cycles, same vantage points.

@MarvelRivals did a great job balancing the game to the point old pro play styles get punished. Adapt and learn the new way

He’s right. I brought up the other day how this season has been become one of my least favorites in a video and people got mad, but the truth is rivals has broken the balance between the casual and competitive player.

The game can be fun for casual players while not being unplayable (actually) for competitive players

That is a balanced match. 3 minutes to micro adjust cool downs to declare point for pros is wild.

this is a top 500 lobby, almost everyone in here is a tier 1 pro, semi pro, or a content creator who is also skilled at the game. THE FIRST FIGHT OF THE POINT TOOK THREE AND A HALF MINUTES TO FINISH. i just dont understand the balancing decisions they make

Assumptions lead to disappointment. Just because there are top performers doesn't mean they will or should be targeted. They could be building around excelling charactes.

What personally disappoints me the most is that I was under the impression that there would be rapid hotfixes after Season 9 aimed at the top performers, which we were PROMISED. But all we ended up getting was a hotfix after 24 hours that made the game feels worse to play.
