@jpottingaround@ArtTakesNote I like and think it is a priority to re-sign walker. Feels like the Bulls would be the danger team that would make an offer, I'd think they'd be wise to go after Watson instead, especially given Denvers cheap ownership.
@jpottingaround@ArtTakesNote I agree. But playing devils advocate, you could say Walk is injury prone and when he has been healthy he's anchored the worst defense in the league. I also don't think any serious decision maker thinks his 3 pt shot going to be enough to get a team to guard him out there.
@jpottingaround@ArtTakesNote Them both being non shooting Centre free agents in the same draft class is probably enough for me to say they're direct comparisons. If Duren is fools gold, what is Walker?
@jpottingaround@ArtTakesNote His direct contract comparison (Duren) had a terrible playoffs.
Investing too heavily in a non shooting C with Wemby in the way is probably seen as unwise.
I'd think a team with space (Bulls?) that wants to lay out an offer sheet would rather go after Peyton Watson?
@HPbasketball@jazzleftovers Explain how this is worse than just not having them play at all? Either way the โintegrityโ is gone. Youโre drawing an arbitrary line.
