We are so proud of these two girls from 6SH for doing an assembly on looking after our school environment. Well done for spreading this important message.
Here’s our class charter reminding us all to…
respect our education; listen to the views of others; be kind to everyone; access information safely; and never discriminate against anyone. We love our bubble theme designed by class members.
These children all shared a language with us today. Some children in our class are bilingual and others are learning a language. We heard 10 different languages altogether. Mrs Holden taught us ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ in French.
We spent some time in the remembrance garden. Every child in our class placed a stone on a pile of stones to remember the children who lost their lives during the second World War. It was very moving.
We had a fantastic day at the National Holocaust Centre today. The children were brilliantly behaved. They followed the journey of a 10 year old boy from Berlin who had to flee his country on the Kindertransport train to the UK.
Welcome back to school 6SH! The classroom is ready for the children and I am really looking forward to seeing them tomorrow morning. Let’s hope they sleep well and are full of enthusiasm for the year ahead!
Wishing all the Y6s happiness always. Keep shining you superstars. We’ll miss you but we are grateful to have had the pleasure of knowing you all. Keep in touch. Best wishes. XxXxX
