Besides the 'ugly' friend bit, that was the cutest date I have seen. Next time I got out with Bill, I will try to impress him with lizards.

And they've gone. Off to catch a movie in the theater down the block. He's trying to convince her to sneak into the PG16 one. She said no.

She changed to subject to their upcoming classes and teachers. He went back to the 'ugly' friend.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

She was talking about her upcoming birthday party and out of the blue he brings that up.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

Oh no! He just told her that her friend keeps getting uglier with age.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

You can tell that these kids spent all their life in a safe city. The girl's bag has been sitting here unsupervised for a while.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

He decided to get up and get in line with her to offer to pay for her drink.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

I'm guessing it was a break up letter they were discussing. She's gone to get a drink. He's googling lizard pictures to impress her with.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

He's trying to impress her with the size of a lizard his dad saw. She wants to discuss the use of "it's not you it's me" in the love letter.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

She looks disappointed and stressed by that fact, but he's winning her back by reading her the love letters a classmate sent another.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

She's not impressed. She's looking for a way out and he asked if she was wanting to get a coffee and not to worry since they had lots of time

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

They're comparing Marvel and DC and how it's spooky trying to sleep after watching an episode of The Defenders.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

They're comparing summer holiday adventures.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

The boy called his dad and in a language the girl didn't understand told him that they made it to the cafe and that the date is going well.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

It's the cutest thing. Two twelve year olds just sat down at the table next to me for their first date ever.

[Leynen Sisson @LJSisson]

Saw Ludwig 2 in Füssen. I didn't realize that taking your preschool age child to a musical about politics and assassination was a thing.
