@BHobelmann@TandTAg@bigaljack In beans we retract the wheels off the ground so the cutterbar is the controlling factor, but for off ground cutting the wheels are too far back to do any good going over terraces. Deere needs to use a sensor at cutterbar to change wheel position or fore/aft.
@BHobelmann@bigaljack Second this! Works well following the terraces, but going straight up and over really doesn’t work well because the tires are rigid for the height you are cutting. We use fore/aft on feederhouse to help with this.
@TrentLanie My 3rd one came on June 7th…..my two girls were age 3 and 5. Needless to say they got to spend a lot of time with me in cab during harvest.
@laneallenw We have dissolved urea and effectively made def fluid but didn’t use it for that reason. It does take heat to offset the endothermic reaction.
@crdots@TrentLanie For the most part pretty good. We had a lot of variability in our emergence which led to all different stages of growth throughout the fields. Even with that it seems we pollinated nicely and everything seems to have evened out.
