To improve soil health (increase soil organic matter?), you have to minimize erosion.
But you can minimize erosion without increasing soil health.
For long-term production, minimizing erosion is more important and probably easier in many situations.
Farms -- including orchards and vineyards -- can be beautiful this time of year. But, remember, the land may be private property. Pesticide applications could also be occurring. Look, but don't enter!
@LynnSosnoskie @ak_viticulture I had very brightly painted rooms in my Ithaca apartment which really helped. Made my day “bright” inside. I also made myself go outside even if it was gray. Just being outside more really made the difference. I also binged a lot of Netflix, not soln but a distraction
