National Military Monument
I visited the National Military Monument on the National Mall when I was in Washington, D.C., and it completely stopped me in my tracks.
Standing on the Lincoln Memorial Plaza are these two massive digital displays that look like American flags waving in the wind. But instead of stars and stripes, they’re filled with the names of more than 41 million service members — from the Revolutionary War all the way to today. The names scroll continuously, cycling every 45 seconds or so.
What really got me was the interactive part. You can scan a QR code or ask the staff on site to look someone up. When they pull a name onto the screen, it’s this quiet, powerful moment. I searched for a few people I know and watched their names light up. It hit harder than I expected.
Unlike the permanent memorials nearby that focus on specific wars or those who never came home, this one honors everyone who raised their right hand and served. It’s temporary (it’s been extended through November 12), free, and open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
If you’re in D.C. anytime soon, go see it, especially after dark when the lights make the names glow. You can also search the database online if you can’t make it in person.
Just a simple, modern reminder that behind every one of those names is a real person, a family, and a story of service. Glad I got to see it.

President Trump called for a BAN on Muslims entering our country and demanded our representatives investigate and put a stop to radical extremists from entering our country.
None of them cared to help him and look where we are now as a result.
🚨 President Trump just posted a photo of the Fed building still under construction and asked the only question that matters:
“When will it ever end?”
Endless scaffolding.
Endless costs.
Endless excuses.
The Federal Reserve keeps growing while ordinary Americans get squeezed.
🚨This large crowd of young girls and patriots supporting Sophie Cunningham formed outside the Barclays Center today.
The Democrats made a big mistake demonizing Sophie for simply not wanting men in women's sports.
God bless Sophie.
🚨Detroit Pastor Lorenzo Sewell is calling on Christians and church leaders to become more politically engaged.
Sewell argues that believers cannot afford to leave the direction of the nation to other voting blocs. His core message is straightforward: if Christians want their values represented in government, they must show up and vote.
He pointed to high participation rates among Arab American voters as an example of how consistent civic engagement can produce real political influence. Sewell challenged churches to actively encourage their members to participate in elections and vote according to their convictions.
He also urged pastors to address political and religious ideas from the pulpit when those ideas conflict with Christian teaching.
