We celebrated our William Allen White “Wall of Fame” members this week @LKELionsBV ! These students read all the nominee books this year! Each student has a READ poster of them hanging in the library and got to celebrate our love for reading together. @bvlibraries

Thanks to @bvschools amazing warehouse delivery guys, we got some new books in today! I jokingly said they better bring me new book orders before I leave for maternity leave and they delivered! @bvlibraries

Take a look at our Starfish Project dignity bags! We were able to assemble 150 complete bags! We have extra supplies to donate including: 134 hairbrushes, 72 deodorants, 47 conditioners, and 257 washcloths!  We will celebrate our giving Monday with a school wide pajama day!

Birthday Makerspace in the LKE library! Each week students are invited to come to the library to celebrate their birthdays. Students get to create a birthday button and enjoy some Makerspace time to celebrate! @bvlibraries

It’s our final stop on the Holiday Express. Once students visited all 6 holiday stations to learn about different celebrations in our community, students boarded our train for a special read aloud. @LKELionsBV @bvlibraries

Another successful Socktober! Our students collected 4,462 pairs of socks last week to donate. Over 125 sock puppets were created at home to display! We also had some “sock-tastic” fun in the library with sock games, a sock puppet theater, and reading glow room. @bvlibraries
