[City of Howell @CityofHowell]

The City of Howell has declared a snow emergency effective at 7pm Monday to 8am Wednesday. All vehicles must be removed from the streets in an effort to allow for the safe removal of snow, ice and debris from the roadway. Stay safe and warm!

I’ve been waiting all day for this - Have you seen the weather report @EMacG14? Have you seen it?!! I have and I’ll be sending tweets with hourly updates like Jim Cantore in the middle of a hurricane. #WinterStormUri #SnowDay.

[Howell Schools @HowellMISchools]

Please join us in sending a huge congratulations to Superintendent @EMacG14 on being named the Howell Area Chamber of Commerce 2020 Citizen of the Year. Mr. MacGregor was selected for this honor by a committee of previous Citizen of the Year winners.

If we don’t get snow tonight, who wants to join me in a class action lawsuit against Mother Nature? It’s Michigan! Where is the snow?!?! #fluffysnowplease

Just finished reading a riveting article on rest and cognitive productivity. Short breaks and sleep can improve memory formation and retention. Rest can improve learning! @EMacG14 What could be more relaxing than a snow day? #SnowIsIrrelevant. #It’sCalledPivotingPeople

[Liza Kelly @LKel2020]

The average temperature of the planet Neptune can be -392F. In solidarity with our sister planet, we should have a snow day even if there is no snow. We live in the same solar system @EMacG14. It’s the right thing to do. #OneHowell #OneSolarSystem

@EMacG14 Guess what we are going to get this evening?

[Be A King @BerniceKing]

Please don’t act like everyone loved my father. He was assassinated. A 1967 poll reflected that he was one of the most hated men in America. Most hated. Many who quote him now and evoke him to deter justice today would likely hate, and may already hate, the authentic King. #MLK

[Be A King @BerniceKing]

Dear politicians/political influencers:

When you tweet about my father’s birthday, remember that he was resolute about eradicating racism, poverty & militarism.

Encourage & enact policies that reflect your birthday sentiments.

Here’s the authentic #MLK:

We live in a time of unprecedented challenges, but within each of us lies an ability to be a powerful force of transformation.

Never let your inability to do everything undermine your determination to do something.
