We just moved to Lincoln, Ne. We spent weeks downsizing. We are now in the move in process. We loved York. I lived there for over 50 years but it was time to open the next chapter of our lives.
Now finishing two months of retirement. This did not just happen, we have been planning for my journey to the pasture for over two years. Not only from the business side but also from the personal side. Sure I miss the people and challenge but their comes a time to move on.
Often times I hear small businesses say they don’t take Office in the home because it is a red flag and they will get audited. If office in the home is such a bad deal why did the IRS just issue a tip for small businesses telling them not to overlook the home office deduction?
I am speaking to the Optinist Club tomorrow (Monday). I thought that they would have me talk about the new tax bill but instead the message I give to the York seniors at Real World day.
