100 years ago today, the legendary Babe Ruth hit this ball 500 feet in batting practice as he and the Ruth All-Stars visited Williamsport to play an exhibition game.
Ruth later autographed the ball and it was gifted to the museum by the West Branch Valley Hall of Fame in 1984.
With the #WorldSeries beginning tonight, we look at one of the football-baseball connections you may not be aware of.
The Class of 1999's Ozzie Newsome is also honored in @LittleLeague's Hall of Excellence. These artifacts are on display in the World of Little League Museum in Williamsport, PA.
Newsome played for Muscle Shoals Little League in Alabama before his prolific football career.
