RFK Jr. believes the only way to end corruption in American politics is to overturn Citizens United:

“I never tell people I'm going to do something that I don't know that I can do.”

“I don't tell people I can end the corruption because we need to get rid of Citizens United to do that. I'm going to campaign across the country to get rid of it because you need two-thirds of the states to pass laws that say, ‘if all the other states do it, we all agree to a constitutional amendment to get rid of Citizens United,’ that's what I will do.”

“We need to do that if we're going to get our America back.”

The Presidency is not the only part of our government that is bought and paid for. From the very top to the very bottom money is dictating American elections, with a huge part of that being the Citizens United decision.

RFK is a lawyer and someone who respects the checks and balances of the U.S. system and realizes the only way to overturn Citizens United is by getting 2/3 of the states to come forward and reject it. It is an uphill battle, due to the corruption throughout all the state governments, but it is one worth fighting.

Until we find a way to get money out of politics, we will continue getting many of the the same unsatisfying results just different political labels next to our candidates names.
