@AdamMatichak As a recently preggo lady with a 2-year old at home myself: you should probably bring your wife home something nice from San Diego on top of that 😜
@PTPintcast Tiger Tail Curve Ball. So much easier to hand it to a patient than to try to get my fingers or elbow into pretty much any of the dee muscles around the hip joint!
@WicksAB@NickHoopes_@PTPintcast Followed by “some say money matters but my brother says big boobs matter more.”
…still haven’t forgot it so I guess it worked 🤦🏼♀️…
@MikeMakher @jwehrerDPT@agordon55 And this is why I hate #orthopt and am a #neuronerd. Can’t tell you how unwelcome I’ve felt in ortho in the past because of the culture. “I’m right, you’re wrong, there can’t be more than one good way to do the thing, you’re incompetent.” Aren’t we all on team #ChoosePT?
@ryansheltonPT New grad here so just trying to understand something I’m unfamiliar with: what is the frustration/beef that some people have? I’ve not encountered that before but appreciate differing perspectives 😊
@durand_lindsay Trying to find the balance between being confident and assertive vs humble and sincere is nearly impossible in the American professional workplace. EVEN in PT! ☹️😞😠
@durand_lindsay Even if you are simply direct and honest (read: NOT blunt/rude, I mean sincere but still assertive), you get told to cool it or tone it down because now you’re “arrogant.” 😳 It feels like you can’t win!
First, do no harm. Reduce community exposure by cancelling non-urgent/emergent F2F visits, sign up to help our colleagues on the front lines (ER, acute, long term and critical care units), do tele-Rehab whether or not you get paid; step up in times of crisis, that’s what we do.
