It is very rare for a parent to need to stop breastfeeding for any illness. During any “ordinary” illness such as cold, sore throat, flu, stomach bug, fever, mastitis, etc., you should be able to continue breastfeeding. That includes COVID-19!

Intense week, but the overriding thing I want to say is please, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and haven't had a #COVID19#vaccine yet, please make an appointment as soon as you can. Getting COVID instead just isn't safe for you or your baby.
