This is how it works:

Tom deposits $1 million at a bank. The bank lend the money do Dick at 7% interest, who buys a house with it. The seller deposits the $1 million at the bank.

The bank lend the money do Harry at 7% interest, who buys a house with it. The seller deposits the $1 million at the bank.

The bank deposits the $1 million at the Fed for 3.8% interest and the Fed buys 5% US Treasury bonds with it.

This creates a house price bubble, the bank is paid interest by multiple people and the Fed on the same $1 million. It looks like there is private demand for US Treasuries, which there isn't

Gore questioned Florida only because it was the deciding state and was very close. It didn’t help that a Bush was governor there at the time.
The whole story: Bush won Florida by 537 votes out of nearly 6 million cast. That’s a margin of about 0.009 percent—the closest in any state’s presidential history. The result was certified after a machine recount and a partial hand recount that stopped when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Bush v. Gore.
Media-led studies of the disputed ballots found Bush would have won the specific recount Gore requested, though by a smaller margin. A full statewide count of every undervote and overvote might have flipped it to Gore by 60 to 171 votes, but Gore’s team never asked for that. The butterfly ballot in Palm Beach County also steered thousands of intended Gore votes to Pat Buchanan.
Gore should have won and there was proof of it. Trump had no proof and still doesn’t after all these years.
