Drake's entire ICEMAN project and roll out is completely self-funded. ICEMAN was him showing UMG that he doesn't need them at all and that he has his own machine that can execute everything that a label does for an artist. From album production, marketing, promotion, and overall rollout, and at a level that's never been done before.
end of an incredible era. after 10+ years, ive decided to step away from Complex and my show "360 with Speedy" to go independent and enter into some new partnerships. getting to work alongside some of my best friends and travel the world doing what i love has been the honor of a lifetime. Complex has been the best partner i could have ever imagined, and my life has changed forever because of them.
interviewing, hosting, and connecting with people on a deeper level has always been at the heart of who I am. im excited to continue to do that with new partners and audiences, and I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years has in store
CP24 keeps using my brothers content for this osap thing & it’s really bothering me. I’m glad to see way more people defending him, cause using him as a scapegoat for this entire thing is aggravating.
I’m real enough to admit the new
J-Cole album is artistically good , but I just don’t see myself coming back to it the same way I come back to forest hills drive or some of his other work.
