Welcome to the 2024 irrigation season! The main lines have been filled and truck fill stations are operational. We are currently operating in prime mode due to the rainy weather.
Attention all water users: final week of irrigation and domestic supply. Water will be shut off at 0800 on Friday, September 29. We would like to remind domestic users that dugouts and large storage tanks can take days to fill and should be topped up before service stops.
A load shed shutdown has been requested for 1500, so the station will be shut down at this time. Please shut all pivots off after this time so that we can rebuild pressure in an orderly manner. ETR: 2100
Thanks to everyone for an orderly shutdown and a smooth startup last night. Demand resumed very smoothly with no thermal capacity issues, so if everyone handles this event in the same manner we will be back in operation quickly.
Another hot day and another scheduled load shed event. The station will be shut down at 1600 and service will resume between 2100-2200. Thanks to everyone for being patient during this hot weather.
We are now shut down as needed to satisfy a SaskPower load shedding demand. Please shut off all pivots to improve startup performance. Service will resume between 2000 and 2200 depending on conditions. A text and tweet will be sent when pivots can be started.
Please allow time for pressure rebuild after service resumes. We request pivots be left off until 2100 or we will be unable to rebuild pressure at a timely rate.
There will be a scheduled outage from 1400-1800 today due to a SaskPower required load shedding event. Pressure will drop to idle. Truck fill stations and domestic water will still be available.
Due to low demand we have an opportunity to shut down and tune the new pump independently. If you are running any pivots, please shut them down. Pressure will be decreased in 1 hour, taking any remaining pivots offline.
P1A testing is planned for today. Normal operation will continue until the initial test run is complete, then we will require a shutdown or constant demand. Irrigators will be notified before this occurs.
Normal operation has resumed. The same conditions will be in effect tomorrow, so any pivots that need to run should be started this evening and left running for the day.
