NBA great Carlos Boozer & his wife, Cece, used IVF to create 34 embryos in order to save their child, Carmani who had sickle cell.
Only 2 were selected: Duke basketball star twins Cameron & Cayden.
The rest of the children were disposed of, considered “undesireable” because they weren’t a match.
“I’m sure there’s a lot of people that think that’s wrong, but I don’t.”
- Cece Boozer
While fighting to save their son’s life, a great desire, they treated the children created through IVF, as expendable, “spare parts, raw material for others survival” - @J_K_Wood
I’m thankful for the health of Carmani, but when children are treated as a commodity, they’re not seen as human. They’re a means to an end, where we play God and decide who desires life and death.
That’s dystopian and evil.

Everyone talking bout Simone Biles, but with all due respect, Nafi Thiam starts another Olympic title defense tomorrow & if she three-peats the heptathlon, she goes down as the greatest woman’s athlete of all time.
So what you’re saying is your expensive hiking boots are made extremely cheaply and the treads are manufactured to rip off entirely and not wear down? @Nike@NikeService@nikestore
It’s that time again, please repost this. Chevy gives the ACS $5 for every retweet. My record is 14k. Last year only 2k. We have to get to 10k this year. It takes 2 seconds. If I tell you that those 2 seconds could save a life you would do it. Please help. #wedrivefor
#Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown says he reads the names of all 16 WRs who were selected before him three times every day before heading out to practice.
He can name all 16 and where they went to college with ease.

Big win for the lions, but even more impressively, Amon ra st. Brown(aka sun god for those who didn’t know) knows the name of every receiver drafted before him!
So a basketball star is released, we can celebrate, but what about Paul Whelan? An American unjustly detained for years. May not be high profile but he is innocent.
This is a dangerous road.
