Delivering hope this Christmas 🎄✨
This film isn't just a story; it's a journey of hope, resilience, and the power of giving. Let Alyssa's determination and spirit uplift you this festive season, reminding us of all of the incredible impact we can have when we come together.
📢 Have you or someone you've cared for received Kymriah (a CAR-T therapy) to treat leukaemia under the age of 26? We'd love to hear about your experiences.
Your voice will help us show why this therapy should be made routinely available on the NHS in England. Send us a DM!
Happy #InternationalWomensDay! 👧 👩 👵
Today we're celebrating some of the incredible women who work at Blood Cancer UK and in our community 😊 see below to find out what they do, and what's important to them about today!
Now tell us, what does #IWD2023 mean to you?
Today is #InternationalChildhoodCancerDay, so we wanted to take you back to 1960, to tell you more about the history of our charity and how we started.
All because of a girl named Susan, who sadly died of leukaemia aged just six.
Today is #WorldCancerDay…it is my 5,395th day since diagnosis. Although I have felt awful 🤢🤕🤒😴 for every single one of those days, I am one of the lucky ones. Far too many still do not survive cancer and there are profound inequalities between groups. We must do better…👇🏻🧵
This #WorldCancerDay, we're shining a light on blood cancer. Why? Because despite being the fifth most common cancer, over 50% of UK adults can’t name a single symptom 🧐
We’re taking a moment to remember Edith Oakley, a volunteer who at 103 has sadly passed away. In her lifetime, Edith raised a total just shy of £250,000 for Blood Cancer UK after her son, John, passed away with leukaemia.
Read on to find out about her incredible legacy.
This will be the first Christmas since the death of Raymond Briggs.
Raymond was right when he said we all die. But sometimes, the good we do lives on after we’re gone.
Raymond hasn’t just left us with his wonderful stories.... 🧵👇
