Y’all, the numbers are in, and we’re blown away.

Thanks to 155 incredible volunteers, we removed 132,620 pounds of garbage from McKellar Lake in Memphis during our 2025 #AlternativeSpringBreak cleanups. That’s over 66 tons of trash in less than three weeks!

The results are in, and thanks to 38 volunteers, we were able to remove 42,820 pounds of garbage from McKellar Lake in Memphis, TN, in just 3.5 days! 💪

And we're just getting started!

We're on the move! Our crew and fleet are en route to Cairo, IL, where our barges will take a breather before catching a ride to Memphis to dive back into river cleanups.

On Tuesday, a fantastic group from American Commercial Barge Line joined us on the Ohio River in Louisville. Together with 22 volunteers, we removed 4,718 pounds of garbage!

Recently, we had the opportunity to help out our friends at @TNRiverBeautiful with cleanups on Fontana Lake, a reservoir on the Little Tennessee River in North Carolina! Both new areas to us!

We had our annual WIMOS cleanup in Cincinnati and these women know how to remove trash!

With the help of 6 WIMOS members we removed 2,629 pounds from the Ohio River 💪

With 60 volunteers we removed 11,505 pounds of garbage from the Mississippi River.
