- भारतीय रेल नवंबर 2025 तक अपने नेटवर्क का लगभग 99.2% विद्युतीकरण का कार्य कर दुनिया की सबसे व्यापक रूप से विद्युतीकृत रेल प्रणालियों में से एक बन गई है।
- विद्युतीकरण की गति 1.42 किमी/दिन (2004-2014) से बढ़कर 2019-2025 में 15 किमी/दिन से अधिक हो गई है, जो भारतीय रेल के आधुनिकीकरण में बड़ी तेजी को दर्शाता है।
