I am deeply saddened by the tragic passing of my friend, Wicknell Chivayo, together with his wife, Lucy Muteke, and the other lives lost in the helicopter crash in Zimbabwe. Their sudden departure is a painful loss to their families, friends and all who knew them.
Wicknell was a dear friend whose warmth touched many people. I will remember him for his friendship, his energy and his deep conviction in the possibilities of our continent.
I convey my deepest condolences to the families of all those who lost their lives, to President Mnangagwa, the people of Zimbabwe and everyone mourning this tragic loss. May God grant Wicknell, Lucy and all those who perished eternal rest.
The killing of our cows in Samburu is not a security operation. It is economic sabotage against the Maa nation. Our cattle are our bank, our school fees, our future. When you wipe out herds in Waso, you do not fight bandits. You impoverish families and manufacture the next generation of desperate men. Today I put the security agencies on notice. Investigate. Compensate. Restock. Or face the full weight of the Maa nation.
Enough.
Toured the Dangote Refinery in Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria, at the invitation of Dangote Group President and CEO @AlikoDangote ahead of our groundbreaking ceremony for the Dangote East African Refinery in Lamu, Kenya, next week.
The refinery in Nigeria is a massive investment with a crude oil refining capacity of 700,000 barrels a day and produces more than 100 million litres of petrol, diesel and aviation fuel every day. The company has built 120km of sea cables to move crude from ships to the refinery.
This huge achievement is a testament of what African governments, investors and financial institutions can do together.
The refinery whose construction we launch in Kenya next week will be bigger. It will transform the petroleum sector in our country and region, providing fuel reliability and security, scaling up industrialisation and creating 60,000 jobs.
When the refinery is completed, spin off industries will emerge, including the production of fertilisers, chemicals, and packaging.
Inspection of Minjila 40 million litres water pan in Garsen, Tana River County. Works delays lead to expensive claims that increase project costs. Adherence to project timelines ensure quick service delivery and value for government resources invested.
I hosted an event that raised a modest $3.5 BILLION in 90 minutes at the UN General Assembly in New York! 🤯
It will fund education in 90 lower-income countries so that no child is left behind. My mom was a teacher in rural Kenya so this historic “harambee” is personal to me
Mama Ida Odinga: I am deeply honoured to welcome you to Capitol Hill today. While these grounds served for decades as the central hub for my late husband’s political journey, the true essence of Raila Odinga belonged to the entire nation. His life was defined by tireless commitment to bringing people together

OF all the greatest sporting countries on our planet, they chose to bring THE WORLD ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS to Kenya, a first for Africa. Please tell the “WANTAM” idiots this doesn’t happen unless your government and its leader enjoy maximum respect in the WORLD.
What a proud moment for Kenya!
At last, our standing as a global sporting powerhouse has been crowned with the honour to host the 2029 senior World Athletics Championships, the first such feat on the African continent.
Congratulations to all the teams that tirelessly worked for it, led by my Cabinet colleague, the Sports CS Hon Salim Mvurya and the @athletics_kenya President Lt. Gen (Retired) Jackson Tuwei.
The win is one of the fruits of President @WilliamsRuto’s commitment to improving the sports infrastructure and Kenya’s standing in the community of nations.
Go, go, Kenya
Stop insulting our people.
Nobody can bribe them to do anything they wouldn’t want to do.
No mountain will be divided, may be in your evil dreams.
Me and you found The GEMA united, it will forever remain so, and you have zero capacity to unite anything.
Wachana na Mountain, it has its ways of remaining intact.
Tafuta sera, let’s meet at the BALLOT.
Babu Patel,
How do you challenge me for a dwell in matters law? Or, you’re intoxicated?
I will give you my first year law student to teach you law kid brother.
I lectured law, founded law schools like Kabarak, pioneered the teaching of Trial Advocacy at Kenya School of Law, published law books, urged the most classical cases cited as authorities by superior courts and contributed to the establishment of Constitutional and Judicial Review Divisions of the High Court when you were still drowning in cocaine and heroine at the University. You went to law school and bought a degree certificate after you shot DJ Evolve in the neck twice and became the main suspect in the killing the Returning Officer of Embakasi East - you are lucky I had left Law School to serve Kenyans in Parliament by then.
I don’t appear before subordinate courts, where I see you shouting “Njaga Manumu, tialala, tibim” as legal maxims - jinga plus!
Assistant Chief tribalist, Mr Ndindi Nyoro, what did you say again?
That NHIF had a higher monthly collection than SHA? Like seriously!
When did you suddenly realise that it was wrong to securitize RMLF? Yet as budget chair you appropriated it's proceeds to your constituency in disproportionate scales.
Spare the country your hypocrisy.
When greed & marginalisation is normalised, then equity & fair distribution becomes such a bitter pill to swallow.
Thank you for your concerns. I have read the nations digital news and wish to state that I am very well.
I had only briefly visited the hospital for a general check up with my doctors and have since returned home.
Being sick is a normal human experience and should not alarm anyone. The day I am truly sick, I will inform you all, for I am a very transparent person.
Thanks for your concerns
Every season ends.
The difficult one you are in will end.
The good one you are in will also end.
Endure the hard ones without despair.
Appreciate the good ones without clinging.
That is wisdom.
