A bit of a long read, haha, but I just thought of this earlier today and figured I'd share it for anyone who'd care to see it. Behold:
The MCU and the SSU: How I think it all ties together within the next ten years.
@OneTakeNews No. Even though I've never seen 1 episode of this (and probably wouldn't have liked it even if I did, from what I've seen), I realize there are others who may have and I hope they got what they wanted out of it. I don't have the time nor energy to focus on TV shows I may dislike.
@AlexFromCC Even if it isn't, it sounds like BB's gonna continue straight into the DCU and any potential sequels would be set firmly in the new universe, regardless of the first one's placement.
@Sharito742 @Aqualad245 Seems to me that everything from Man of Steel to Aquaman 2, including Blue Beetle, is DCEU, and the start of the DCU is Creature Commandos next year. Gunn's made it a point to say the character of Jaime will very much be in the DCU, but has been very unclear on the film itself.
@Ralphbbgorl@emgot88@MCU_Direct This person respectfully chimed in with their opinion in reply to no one else here, while you are trying to impose yours upon them. Opinions are subjective, something emgot88 understands and you don't seem to. You are not right nor wrong, neither is the person you're replying to.
@Thee__DAWG@JamesGunn@ResonantJustice@ItzPaulHD_v1@NickPrincipe7 Gunn hasn't actually lied, he hasn't said anything about that current situation yet. In fact, the last we heard, he said that they haven't booted her from the role. Given that, Gadot's confidence, and CWGST backing up those claims, I'm currently led to believe she's staying on.
@MyTimeToShineH I figured that. They're directly continuing the Suicide Squad stuff in the DCU, so it would seem odd not to keep her.
How about Gadot's Wonder Woman? There's been a back and forth from reliable sources regarding her, have you heard anything yet?
@ItIsNotRick@rcarlin1979 He has none because even if WW does get recast, it won't be Melchior playing her. It's just common sense that any TSS/Peacemaker characters who survived those two projects will be kept with their actors intact.
@Account_Of_Seby @loudnetizen_ @OneTakeNews You're right. Both of these films would have done fantastic anyway given Gerwig and Barbie's popularity for one and Nolan's reputation for the other, but that combo on the same weekend is a novelty that really appealed to people. The online campaign really helped these two.
@angryninja14 @getFANDOM Assuming you're not being sarcastic in some way, I actually like it, but that's irrelevant given how I'm talking about the film being the second in the MCU in a completely objective sense. My preferences have nothing to do with it. Iron Man is factually the 1st MCU film.
@zapppz@MCU_Direct I wasn't talking about this account in particular and I don't necessarily condone it, I just find it interesting how a big blockbuster like that can be openly available on this site for 12 hours and somehow it doesn't get talked about from anyone until after it's gone.
