@SocialNutmeg I cut my parents out in my mid20s. I’m now 52. It was the best decision I could have made. My father is now dead, my mother keeps trying to worm in via people we know in common. Ie relatives and so on. But she’s still abusive, won’t change, so I don’t let her.

But any point, they can tell you to lose weight without indicating how much or what time frame. And at any point, they can refuse to renew a visa based on nothing more than BMI. You’re at their mercy.
