So I’m at LAX walking to my gate and someone bumps into me and we simultaneously go “Ope”.
We looked each other and she says “Milwaukee” and I say “Chicago”.
Was 25 minutes late to my final today. I get there and everyone is COLORING. I’m in my fifth year of college, you’d think things would be easier than this.

Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure suicidal thoughts.
Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure depression.
Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure PTSD.
Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure anxiety.
But that doesn’t mean Jesus doesn’t offer us companionship and comfort.
He ALWAYS does that.
Theory:
Young people are leaving the church in part because they grew up with a faith that emphasized having fun more than it did being formed.
Perhaps it’s time to raise the bar for our kids and give them something bigger than themselves to live for.
