First blower door test yesterday. Shooting for 330 CFM at 50 Pascals or lower. Initial reading was about 340.... till I realized the electrician left a window open!! Got down to about 170 after sealing that up! Combo of @BuildSmartNA and lots of @PROSOCO R-Guard made it easy!

The @ZehnderAmerica system rough in is complete! Guys did a great job of keeping things tight so I could eliminate soffits. Electrical started this week and siding is about halfway! Making progress, but never as fast as you want it to go... counting down the weeks! @smallplanetws

All wrapped up with the @DryvitSystems EIFS on the lower level and it looks great! Time to caulk the windows and check off the lower facade ✅

Love the way the metal roof seems to blend in with the water from my neighbors deck. Garage is up now and coated with @PROSOCO #Cat5 and should be getting the roof next week!

Making progress! Roof is dried in and awaiting the metal roof. Lots of work on the interior to prepare for my first #PassiveHouse blower door test in a couple weeks! @PROSOCO R-Guard products are making it easy though! #fluidapplied

Final day of @Living_Future ILFI Unconference in Seattle. Great to see everyone and get a chance to discuss the evolution of the Living Building Challenge. Don’t forget to stop by and see @PROSOCO on the 7th floor!

Panels are up! 8 days with 4-5 guys we got the @BuildSmartNA lower level panels set, floors built and upper panels set. Time to slap a roof on it and get everything detailed, then my #PassiveHouse will be dried in!

First set of panels arrived on time and went up easy! Framers were impressed! Despite moving them by hand (damn they were heavy) we were able to get 56 lineal feet set and sealed in just a couple hours. Second truck left @BuildSmartNA today and should be arriving Friday morning!

Got the basement slab placed and finished! Lots of work to keep my vapor barrier dry before placement, but thankfully mother nature cooperated during the pour! Can't wait to see what it looks like once it's polished up with @ PROSOCO Consolideck products and @JointsFill

First of two shipments coming my way from @BuildSmartNA left Lawrence Kansas yesterday, scheduled to arrive on Monday! Second Truck scheduled to arrive on Friday and I should have all my walls up by the following Monday! Can't wait to have this #PassiveHouse dried in!

@StegoTechnical Yep, yellow guard and stego tape. Black gorilla tape is just holding folds together but the stego tape is on all the actual seams, then touched up with @PROSOCO Joint and Seam Filler on any wrinkles or voids in the tape

Well, that’s one way to rest assured your vapor barrier is sealed tight... rains gotta quit!
