In addition to gaining career skills I use every day, I "re-met" my high school sweetheart and now-husband @ljgosse through @NationalFFA. Wearing the navy corduroy positively impacted my life for the long-term. #FFAWeek
This #FFAWeek, our employees are reflecting on their time spent in Future Farmers of America. From inspiring their career paths to creating lifelong connections, @NationalFFA motivated them to make a difference in the ag industry.
To better understand #derecho20's impact, we’re interpreting data from many satellite & ground-level sources.
As an example of a hard-hit area, in Cedar County, IA, 53% & 24% of total #corn & #soy acres were severely impacted. Stay tuned for a report as we approach #Harvest20.
Ag shows resilience again after #derecho2020 swept 700 miles across the Midwest. 17% of Iowa on-farm storage & 13% of Illinois' saw sustained 50mph+ winds, totaling 530M bu of capacity.
More analysis to come approaching #Harvest20. See on-the-ground views from @agronomist_evan.
