Thanks all for supporting Principle Brewing, a great brewery pub in Fairy Meadow that are serving up $5 schooners for LMS players throughout the tournament. Please note that when visiting, use the street parking opposite or nearby, rather than using next door!
Great work from legendary LMS umpire Neil Smith, who was working on drying the Reed Park pitch from 06.30 this morning to ensure it's playable for today. 16 inter-state teams in action in short format, knockout T10 games so it's going to be a cracker of a day's play for sure!
IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT UPDATE: Following the extended wet weather, a comprehensive email has been sent to all team organisers with important info about the tournament format & Saturday's games. Please ensure that your team organiser reads this email or contact us if not received!

For those of you in town already, some teams will be heading 1 hr up the rd to Bowral, birthplace of Don Bradman & home to the Bradman Museum - one of the world's great sporting museums. Bowral's a lovely town so definitely worth the trip given it's not much of a beach/golf day!
Unfortunately over 70mm of rain last night has forced cancellation of all Thursday's games of the 2022 Aussie Champs. With pitches & outfields saturated/underwater, there's no chance of play even if the sun was out. An update on tomorrow AM games will be made later this afternoon
The storm and constant rain tonight in Wollongong has brought about an extra (and very wet) late night pitch inspection. Unfortunately there is no chance of Thursday's 08.15am games being played so they have been cancelled. A call on Thursday's 10.30 games will be made by 7.30am.
