The LMS Science Department was recognized with a National award from the Interstate Mining Compact yesterday. Our teachers and students have reclaimed 6 acres and over 4,000 sagebrush plants in the Gas Hills. Way to go Sabers!
Community Service in Action: 6th graders from Russell, Swift, and West’s class spent Saber Family time reading their favorite children’s stories to kiddos at Head Start - They all absolutely loved it!
6th graders visited with Mr. Randall Wise of the Pioneer Museum to learn about the legacy of WWII and its impact on our local community. One take away from the visit was the clear understanding of just how tough and brave the residents of our community were and still are!
LMS 6th graders visited with museum curator Rae Whitley of the Dubois Museum of Military Vehicles about the United States' involvement in World War II. Our students loved their professional exhibit displays and incredible war stories of bravery and sacrifice!
